Many hands, one banner.

Three Corners Rising is a game by Tiny Machines Workshop LLC, made with the Godot Engine.

Illustrations

The four battlefield plates, the portraits of the four leaders and the first frontispiece are original artwork generated for Three Corners Rising with a built-in image-generation tool. The frontispiece shown today is an edit of that plate, made with xAI’s grok-imagine-image-2.0 from two references, the original plate and the leaders’ portrait sheet: it replaces three generic foreground figures with Mara, Ivo, Sable and Neri. Circle Kingdom Tactics’ storybook art was studied for visual direction only; none of it was copied or edited. Board pieces, page ornaments and the battlefield frame are drawn by the game’s own code.

The opening vignette

The 24-second loop, on this site and in the game, animates that edited frontispiece with xAI’s Grok Imagine video models: grok-imagine-video-1.5 brought the still to life, and grok-imagine-video extended the moving footage. In this take the four leaders hold their ground while the procession climbs to the castle; it replaced an earlier take in which they walked. A brief fade through parchment joins the end to the beginning. The film is silent.

Gameplay images

The battle images on this site are actual captures of the game, recorded by its rendering checks. Each is set on a parchment margin that the page softens into the paper, and on phones the same captures are cropped to the mission title and the board. Nothing inside them was repainted.

Sound

The game’s wood-and-bell interface cues are synthesized by its own code, with no sampled recordings. There is no music or voice acting in this alpha.

Engine and type

Built with the Godot Engine, available under the MIT License; the exported game keeps Godot’s embedded engine notices.

Crimson Text, by the Crimson Text Project Authors, is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. It is the only asset the game shares with Circle Kingdom Tactics. This website also borrows circlekingdom.com’s paper grain from the same workshop.
